My newborn is 6 weeks old today! I breast and bottle feed. She was on Similac Pro Advance and it made her so fussy and she did not use the bathroom and was gassy so much! I reccomend senistive and not pro senstive. Instead her pedi gives us probiotic samoples the gerber ones We tried many different formulas all with their own issues. Similac sensitive has been a game changer for my little spitty girl. She has spit up much of her feelings until we found this one.

She is pooping regularly, spitting up sooo much less, and is an over all much happier baby :. After trying many formula options for our son's reflux, the Similac Sensitive Ready to Feed was the perfect fit. At 7 months he has done well for at least 5 months on this formula and now it has disappeared! Did you stop making it?!

We are having real trouble finding the ready to use 32 floz bottles and hope this product is not disappearing!!! Please tell us were we can order online or pick up this product.

I used Enfamil since my baby was born in November due to lack production of breast milk. My baby was constipated all the time and she cried every time, she pass gas.

Then I was advice by my doctor to used Enfamil Gentlease, but that didn't work either. She finally back to herself, but hard to find this formula in the stores. I had to search four different stores two days ago just to find it. I bought four 32 oz because I'm scared I won't find it when I need it. I hope she can make through four month with this This works well for my baby who spits up often. The formula itself is a five star product for sensitive tummies but it is so hard to see the one ounce line on the cream colored scoop it makes measuring out the correct amount for odd ounces very difficult.

The 32 oz bottle is unavailable in Northern California. They could not give us a next time on shelves date. I switched my son to this formula when he was spitting up massively with Similac Pro-Advance and Similac Total Comfort. He has done wonderfully on Similac Sensitive; the spit-up was reduced and it also reduced his gassiness. This made feedings much better for him. I would give this 5 stars; however, I am consistently annoyed that the Similac Sensitive scoop is not clear like their other formulas Pro-Advance and Total Comfort, for example have clear scoops.

Similac Sensitive's scoop is opaque and near impossible to see the line for measuring a one ounce scoop. Not all babies eat by the 2 ounces so when you increase amounts of formula sometimes it needs to be by an ounce and it should not be so difficult to see the ounce marking on the scoop Unfortunately I also could not trade out the scoop from one of those when I switched my son because they are a slightly different size and I didn't want to be filling his formula with an inaccurate measurement.

Similac should produce a clear scoop for this formula so it is easier to measure the one ounce. This was the only formula that helped save us! It truly was a blessing to use this with my daughter when we had her. We had been through every formula you could imagine.

And nothing worked until we started using this. Here at Walmart. Your email address will never be sold or distributed to a third party for any reason. Due to the high volume of feedback, we are unable to respond to individual comments. Sorry, but we can't respond to individual comments.

Nature One Babies Only Formula is organic, GMO free, corn syrup free, and the next best thing to breast milk or making your own formula. Now, depending on where you live Medicaid may reimburse you for the formula because it is considered a medical formula. I formula-fed my triplets for several months while I was working to bring my supply up. If I had seen this article back then and known what each ingredient was and how harmful they can be, you better believe I would have FOUND the energy to find an alternative.

The author did an excellent job of simply laying out the shocking ingredients for what millions of mothers unknowingly give their babies. Thanks for sharing so that mothers who are on the fence about breastfeeding or formula-feeding can make an informed decision!

I found the article very helpful and short……which is what I need as a busy mommy. I appreciate its concise words, and overall I think the breastfeeding place is careful not to try to shame moms for using formula and often comments and supports moms that cannot breastfeed.

I can see where those that think the article is about making you feel guilty are coming from. But that leaves you in a position of no power. How about looking at it from a place of holding your own power? This is great info. See, if you shoot the messenger, the focus is still not on the fucked up companies that are counting on us all staying ignorant. They are doing horrific things to us and our children. So if you decide to continue to blame the writer of the article then the correct statement is:.

I totally agree. My son and a couple of my grandkids were formula fed babies. And I really believe that the long term affects that it has had on them stem from feeding this crap!!

I truly believe that this is a way to destroy generations of healthy children. I am older now and do research and I believe between the soy and the managanese in formula we have homosexual and children with ADHD and other problems, especially with our boys, not slighting what problems it has caused our girls.

I understand a healthy level of concern for what you feed your baby is necessary, but have you really done your research. Cupric Sulfate — yes it can do those things, but you must consider the level being introduced and the other substances it is combined with. It made me think of salt, vinegar or baking soda.

Things we use every day for multiple reasons, cleaning, eating, disinfecting… Salt can also be very bad for us and if consumed in high levels can be poisonous. What you forgot to say is Cupric Sulfate is an antidote for phosphate poisoning. Also, copper is an essential trace mineral we are naturally exposed to.

It is important to make sure all the facts are presented in order to be seen as providing credible information. The question is not if Cupric Sulfate is good or bad for us, the question is if we will weigh both sides of the facts prior to making a public statement against it.

Reading this over three years later, became frustrated of hearing a trace element being called a pesticide, and was about to write till I saw you phrased it much better than I would have. Thanks Heather! Thanks for this information and the courage to put it out there. I agree with Aeryn, knowledge is power. Often people ignore the truth because it is too much to take, especially compiled with the stress of caring for a newborn.

Being left to feed your baby commercial formula adds to that devastation. I am commenting here only to encourage parents not to settle for commercial formulas. My husband and I have 3 children and live off one modest salary. I use the Weston A Price baby formula recipe. It is expensive initially. If you can put in the effort to get the ingredients on sale you can minimize the cost. At first I was terrified to begin feeding it to our little one but she is now 6 months old and doing very well on it.

I know each and everything that I put into her bottles and that makes me feel better. Good luck! Breastfeeding Place has a wealth of information to support mothers in this […]. Does breast milk have corn syrup solids? And what if baby cannot tolerate […]. Are you a new or expecting mama? Looking for some guidance on navigating the newborn days? Check out this new book!

Similac Sensitive, however, seems to be effective for reducing signs of lactose intolerance in many babies. This is a blend of DHA, lutein, and vitamin E. However, it is prone to harm caused by oxidation… except when it is paired with lutein and vitamin E. DHA is found in a lot of formulas, but not in combination with lutein and vitamin E as protectors. This particular formula utilizes milk fat globule membrane MFGM , a bioactive membrane found in breast milk.

Protein 2. The determining factor for purchase is likely going to be whether your baby is lactose-intolerant or if they can handle some lactose.

Both products offer their own blend of ingredients that are supposed to enhance neurological development and offer immune system support. Many parents have seen a major reduction — if not outright elimination — of their babies symptoms after starting them on Similac Sensitive.
